5th Annual Indigo & Natural Dye Workshop

Mitchell, South Dakota
This dye workshop will be held at Flavia’s Place B&B in Mitchell, South Dakota - home and studio of Lelia Guilbert, Surface Design Association rep from South Dakota. Cost of the workshop is $125 per person. Lodging and meals will be $45 per person per night. All meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner and a welcome reception Thursday (September 25) night are included.

The workshop will cover all aspects of indigo dyeing with various natural fabrics. Several other natural dyes and extracts will be available. (last year we had 12 different dyes including the indigo vat) If you want to dye yarn please bring your own. Some methods of resist dyeing will also be included.
